Biography
You might be feeling disconnected from yourself or others, or carrying loneliness, guilt, or shame in your relationships. Many of my clients come in feeling stuck—trying to navigate anxiety, depression, people-pleasing, codependency, perfectionism, masking, and/or burnout. These struggles are common, especially for those who’ve experienced emotionally immature families, chronic illness, neurodivergence, major transitions, and/or trauma.
I believe therapy works best when we’ve built a foundation of trust and safety—where things can come up naturally, when you feel ready. You are the expert on your own experience; my role is to walk alongside you, not to judge or analyze.
My approach is primarily relational and existential. Relational therapy focuses on how past and present relationships shape your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In session, we might even explore the dynamic between us as a way to understand your patterns in a safe and supportive space. Existential therapy, on the other hand, centers around meaning-making—helping you cultivate self-awareness, make choices aligned with your values, and discover your own sense of purpose. Basically, finding your unique reason for living and healing. I also incorporate elements of person-centered therapy, DBT, and sandplay when helpful, always collaborating with you to find what feels most supportive.
I work with young and new adults, LGBTQ+ folks (13+), parents of queer or trans kids, neurodivergent individuals, caregivers, and people living with chronic illness or disability. My clients often want to explore who they are beneath the pressure to perform, please, or push through. Together, we’ll create a safe space where you can untangle what’s painful or shameful from who you truly are—so you can begin to trust your needs, make authentic choices, and build a life that feels true to you.
